Part Time Bar Supervisor

Morley Rugby Club is seeking a part-time bar supervisor to oversee the running of the bars and function room.
This role will be contracted for 25 hours per week, although there is the potential for the postholder to take on additional hours on a casual basis, depending on their personal situation and the needs of the business. There will be a need for the postholder to take a flexible approach to the job in line with the demands of the on/off season. The role will be renumerated @ £8.00 per hour, with a pro rata holiday allowance.
Duties will include:
· Maintenance of high standards of bar provision and customer service
· Coordination of functions
· Coordination and supervision of bar staff
· Responsibility for banking, cash handling and wages
· Stock ordering, control and management
· Maintenance of all aspects of health, safety and hygiene in relation to the bar and function service
· Upholding the conditions of the licenses on behalf of the Senior Committee
Potential candidates should:
· Possess significant experience within the hospitality industry
· Demonstrate experience of taking on additional responsibility within previous roles
· Have a positive customer focused approach and the ability to act as a role model for staff
· Demonstrate high standards in relation to health and safety and management of stock
· Possess a proactive and flexible attitude
· Be honest and trustworthy and able to work effectively without supervision
· Candidates with an interest in rugby and supervisory experience are preferred.
