The Maroons BIG Lottery
As you will be aware, there is great uncertainty throughout large parts of the economy and this is affecting both the amount of the sponsorship funding that the club is able to generate for the coming season and the support of the lottery.
Sadly, we have to report that, what was anticipated by way of support for the club's lottery has not been achieved and we find ourselves unable to continue to bear the scheme's ongoing costs and prize money. We always saw the lottery project as a long-term scheme but without greater support funding it has become a net drain on club funds.
The committee has therefore decided to continue with the scheme in its existing format up to the end of July 2008 and from that date forward reduce the prizes to :-
Annual £1000.00
Monthly £100.00, £50.00, £25.00, £25.00
