From Liverpool, M62 west:

Approaching via the A580 from the west, join the M57, heading south. Exit at Junction 2 and follow signs for Knowsley Safari Park, continuing as above.

If approaching from the east, turn left at the Windle junction sign-posted to St. Helens (A570). Continue all the way until meeting a roundabout in the town centre. Go around the roundabout, exiting at the fourth junction onto the dual carriageway. Passing Focus Do-It-All on the left, carry on to the next roundabout for 300 yards and select the right hand lane. Go around the roundabout, exiting at the third junction onto the A58, another dual carriageway that becomes Prescot Road. Continue on, passing Pilkington's Alexandra Park on the left, and then through two sets of lights. At the second set, bear to the right, passing Grange Park Golf Club on your right. After a further hundred yards, prepare to turn 'right', at the sharp bend in the road. At the bend, effectively go on straight into West Park car park.

Approaching from the M6, North or South, join the M62, heading towards Liverpool. Exit at Junction 7, follow the roundabout and exit at the St. Helens Linkway, a dual carriageway. Head towards the town centre, passing over two small roundabouts and under the suspension bridge. At the next roundabout take the second exit towards the town centre, passing the new retail park on the left. Go straight over the next roundabout taking the left-hand lane, under the bridge and through the main set of lights (Safeway's and the new cinema are on the right). Take the first left off the next roundabout onto the A58, another dual carriageway that becomes Prescot Road. Continue on, passing Pilkington's Alexandra Park on the left, and then through two sets of lights. At the second set, bear to the right, passing Grange Park Golf Club on your right. After a further hundred yards, prepare to 'turn right', at the sharp bend in the road. At the bend, effectively go on straight, entering West Park car park.
